Like my other ranking posts we are on the brink of some awesome rank changing fights. Silva vs Belfort, Souza vs Lawler, Bisping vs Rivera. We will see what happens in the weeks and months to come.
1. Anderson Silva------------- Pound For Pound The Best Fighter In The World
2. Chael Sonnen-------------- Gave Anderson all he could handle. Out on PED suspension
3. Yushin Okami-------------- Very strong, good ground game, improving stand up. He may have to wait on GSP for the shot.
4. Demian Maia--------------- Can sub anyone, but has very limited stand up, has no chance against Silva
5. Vitor Belfort---------------- Hasn't fought at 185 in a while. Needs to have a good showing against Silva to stay at the Top
6. Nate Marquardt------------ Can't seem to pull things together he is one of the best but he hasn't fought like it as of late
7. Dan Henderson------------- Bad loss to Jake Shields, but he can still give anyone a hand full
8. Jorge Santiago-------------- We need to see him against top competition
9. Ronaldo Souza-------------- If he can beat Lawler he belongs in the top 10
10. Michael Bisping------------ Has only lost to the best
-Honorable Mention-
Robbie Lawler------------ Has A Title Shot. If he can win he is Top 10 for sure
Hecror Lombard--------- Is a beast that can finish any fight in under a minuet but we need to see what he can do against the top guys. Ronaldo Souza, Robbie Lawler, or Jason Miller would be good fights.
Wanderlei Silva--------- If he can beat Brian Stan he is Top 10 again
Jake Shields-------------- Is top 3 at 185 but he has dropped back down to 170. If he loses to GSP I see him going back up
Jason Miller-------------- I think he is one of the best but he really needs to fight some big names
Brian Stan- ---------------Had a huge win over Leben. If he takes out Silva then he is close to the top
Allen Belcher------------ Looked great in his last fights but has been out with his eye. If he comes back healthy I see him making a title run
Anderson is going to destroy Belfort
ReplyDeletehope GSP gets the next shot at the belt
