World Light Heavyweight Rankings Top 10

There are some big fights coming up in the LHW division with Rua vs Evans, Cavalcante vs Henderson, Griffin vs Franklin, Jones vs Bader, Jackson vs Silva, and Mashida vs Couture all set to fight. A win for anyone of there guys will change the rankings, but for now this is what i got.


1.Mauricio Rua------------UFC Champ, but he has a hard fight ahead of him with Evans. We will see what happens
2.Rashad Evans----------only loss is to Machida, Best wrestling in the division
3.Quinton Jackson--------The win over Machida moved him up one spot, He can KO any man on the planet with 1 punch
4.Lyoto Machida----------Losing two in a row he has some huge questions to answer, He should beat Couture but if he doesn't he will fall off the list
5.Jon Jones---------------I count the fight against Hamill as a win. If he can take out Bader he will be the top contender
6.Ryan Bader-------------Lets see if he can test Jones's chin
7.Forrest Griffin----------hasn't fought in a well over a year, if he loses to Franklin he is no longer top 10
8.Thiago Silva------------Has only lost to top guys, If he can beat Jackson he will be back in the title picture
9.Gegard Mousasi------Dream Champ, very good striker, good ground game, wrestling needs work. We really need to see him fight top guys. He should be the next contender after Hendo for the SF belt
10.Randy Couture------Truly one of the best of all time, IF he beats Machida it would be INSANE, and a title shot could be in his future

Rafael Cavalcante------Current Strikeforce Champ, If he beats Hendo he belongs in the top 10
Rich Franklin-------------former champ, all around great fighter, if he takes out Forrest he will be on the road to the title
Dan Henderson---------Just on the edge of the top 10, should he win over Cavalcante he will be back at the top.
Phil Davis----------------Has showed some true talent but still needs some wins over some big names i think the loser or Jones vs Bader would be good.
